The Theory of Knowledge

This book states and develops the Marxist approach to some of the principal questions of philosophy – the relations of matter and mind, the origins and laws of development of consciousness, the scope and validity of human knowledge, the foundations of human freedom and morality. The author applies the ideas of dialectical and historical materialism to show how human consciousness actually arises and develops. The process is traced step by step – from the simple condition reflex up to the growth of human knowledge and human freedom.
